It's the "Cool Blended" way we make it that makes the difference.

Cool Blending is a unique patented system of manufacture, that ensures the retention of flavour, and protects vital vitamins, minerals and trace elements. All ingredients are cooked separately in a way that is most optimal to that ingredient, then "Cool Blended" together at 14° C. The fragile duck fat, vitamins, minerals and trace elements are therefore not damaged by detrimental high temperatures, and are guaranteed to last the life of the pack.

Natural Prebiotics

Pre-biotics ensure that Excellence Formulas have a minimum digestibility of 85%!

All Excellence formulas contain Fructo-oligosaccharides - these natural pre-biotics help stimulate the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria. Pre-biotics increase the number and/or activity of bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria. The importance of these (LABs) is that these groups of bacteria have several beneficial effects on your pet especially in terms of improving digestion (including enhancing mineral absorption) and the effectiveness and intrinsic strength of the immune system. Pre-biotics ensure that Excellence Formulas have a minimum digestibility of 85%! This means that Excellence goes to work inside your pet, where it is needed and much less passes out as waste.

Protection for the Urinary Tract

Excellence Formulated to protect your pets.

Excellence is formulated to help regulate urine pH to avoid the acidic or alkaline extremes that can lead to the formation of calcium oxalate and struvite stones, that can cause painful obstructions in the urinary tract (optimum pH of between 6.2 - 6.4). Excellence provides low levels of dietary magnesium to further protect against stone formation.
