Excellence Super Premium pet food formulations have been developed in association with leading Veterinarians, Scientists and Expert Pet Nutritionists. Our formulas provide all the essential nutrients for your pets individual life stage and specific nutritional needs, ensuring a healthier, active & happier life.

Excellence contains only the highest quality sources of proteins, digestible animal fats, carbohydrates, fibre and antioxidants. For example only the best sources of meat proteins are used with a guaranteed 26% Fish or Poultry meat protein in every pack! These are combined with essential dietary fats, vitamins, vital minerals, then cool blended in a unique process that allows vitamins to remain fresher for longer, and guarantees the vitamins for the life of the pack.

Once your kitten has reached adulthood (12 months of age), Excellence Cat Adult formulas come in a number of Life Stage Protection Formulas and tempting flavours of Exotic French Cuisine, 10 Lives Health Boosting Salmon and for cats that have been desexed (neutered or spayed), we have developed a Neutered Cat Range that is specifically formulated to help prevent neutered cats from developing struvite stones and oxalate stones and from gaining excessive weight.

 

Feeding Guidelines

Super Premium foods are more palatable and more digestible, are higher in energy and more nutrient dense. This means that you need to feed a smaller amount of Excellence to your pet because of its concentrated nutrition.

We recommend that you follow the guidelines on the pack, as to how much you you should be feeding your kitten/cat per day. Please follow these recommended amounts and feed in a "portion controlled" manner - ie ensure your kitten/cat only gets the daily amount per day even if you divide it up into several smaller meals per day. Obesity is one of the leading nutritional disorders in pets today, and the cause is often overfeeding.

Please ensure that plenty of fresh, clean water is available for your pet every day. Food intake required to maintain best body condition will vary according to age, activity and the environment (weather conditions etc).

When switching to a Super Premium diet, we recommend that you wean your pet onto the new diet over a period of a week. On the first day mix a little of the new diet in with what your cat normally eats, over the 7 day period, gradually increase the amount of the new diet and lessen the amount of the old diet until your pet is eating only the new diet. By doing this you will ensure your pet gets the benefit of the new diet slowly which will minimise any stomach upsets.

These 3 formulas have all be developed specifically for cats that have been desexed. A cats physiology changes after desexing. They can become prone to obesity and to the risk of struvite or calcium oxalate stones forming in the urinary tract. Excellence formulas for Neutered Cats provides a controlled level of energy protecting the cat from excessive weight gain, while still providing exceptional palatablity food.
